GEELONG FORESHORE

What a beautiful place at Christmas Time.
I used a kraft card for the base and then white cardstock to make the background for the photo's.  I used Lindys Stamp Gang srays to get the beautiful colours to match the photo's.  I then stamped around the frame, stamped words & circles and added some chipboard stars.  Loving the way it has turned out and brings out the colours in the photo's

Enjoy

SANDCASTLES

This was the first year that we went to the Frankston Sandcastles.  They are amazing, all the work that goes into them.  I used modeling paste again to get some texture on the cardstock and then use a lot of different natural burlaps and cardboard to bring out the colours of the sand

Enjoy

BALI

Love going to Bali, its so relaxing and as you can see from the photo's we had another great holiday.

I have done many layouts to capture the country

Hope you enjoy

GROOVY BABY

Been a bit lazy lately, so I decide to finally post some new layouts I have done over the past few months.  I still love to learn and go to classes to see what the latest products and how to use them, there are so many exciting new products at the moment.

This layout I really enjoyed doing, used Monte Marte modelling paste to change a white piece of cardstock into a great background.  I then used Dylusion's paints (love the bright colours).  I want to get a sixty's theme to the paper.  Once I finished the background I then sprayed and stamped anothe piece of card to get a background so I could make so groovy t/shirts.  These photo's of me where taken at a retreat and guess who won first prize for the fancy dress ?

Enjoy

HOLLYWOOD

Love this layout, love the colours.

I used Kaisercraft "Sandy Toes" as the colours were just perfect for the layout.  I cut out a heap of strips to go onto the page before I used a Prima stencil with gesso for some texture on the background.

Cut out some of the Sizzix "picture wheel" die and added some film strip to give it more dimension. Backed the photo with some cardboard and stamped some boarded stamps and there you have it.

It is such a simple but effective layout.

DIARY QUEEN

Been missing my scrapbooking while I was away (but it was nice to be in the the sun for the week in Bali, coming back to cold weather is not nice) but it is nice to be in my room again and getting my mojo back after the holiday

The photo's in this layout was taken in Bali last year and Tyler was so excited when he found the Dairy Queen store, to his disappointment this year, the store was closed.  On the second last day we were there we found the new store, needless to say he made up for it in those 2 days.

I used Kaisercraft "Off The Wall" paper for the background and sprayed it with several red sprays (Dylusions, Distress Inks etc...).  I then sprayed water over the whole page to get more runs and also to dilute the colour so I could see the pattern in the paper. Backed the photo's also with "Off The Wall" and then made heaps of die cuts to embellish the page.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Love sitting in my room and being creative, I am just a hobby scrapbooker, but one day would love to be on a designer team, we can only wish.

In this layout I used Dylusions Paints, love the bright colours.  Painted the black card stock with the yellow, green & blue and then used a cogs stencil with gesso, once the gesso was dry I then when over it with the Dylusions paints in orange & red.

Cut out a heap of die cuts which I made the paper with heaps of different sprays to get the right effect. (see example)
